Daniel M. Lowery, APLD
Owner, designer and general contractor with the 15 year old company
Queen Anne Gardens, Daniel enjoys helping a few residential clients
per month create custom designs. He and his staff oversee, build
and maintain select landscape designs. Daniel is one of three landscape
designers in Washington certified by the international organization
Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). He serves
as president of the Washington Chapter of APLD and is a mentor to
fellow designers in the certification process.

HGTV - Landscaper's Challenge

Cambium Arts Queen Anne Treewalk
Daniel Lowery will be a featured artist in the Queen Anne Treewalk. His installation will be a labyrinth in the shape of a butterfly that represents the community based movement called Project Golden Butterfly; Welcome to Project Golden Butterfly - Project Golden Butterfly . This project promotes organic practices in residential gardens for the health of all.

APLD Board Meeting
Chicago is the site for the first APLD board meeting of the year. Visiting Millenium Park and The Art Institute of Chicago will influence Daniel’s sense of aesthetics.

International Symposium on Japanese Gardens
Daniel joined over 200 delegates from countries ranging from Japan
to Monaco and attended the International Symposium on Japanese
Gardens.

APLD Board Meeting
As Communications Chair on the National Board of Directors of
APLD, Daniel visits New York and attends quarterly board meeting.
High on the list of places to visit is the Isamu
Noguchi Garden and Museum.
