APLD Board Meeting
As Communications Chair on the National Board of Directors of APLD, Daniel visited New York and attended the quarterly board meeting. High on the list of places to visit while in New York was the Isamu Noguchi Garden and Museum.
Created by Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988), The Noguchi Museum opened in 1985, presenting a comprehensive collection of the artist's works in stone, metal, wood, and clay, as well as models for public projects and gardens, dance sets, and Akari Light Sculptures. The addition of art to any garden large or small is always encouraged at Queen Anne Gardens.
