Winter in the Pacific Northwest Garden

It's been unusually cold here for a Seattle winter. We have had a few weeks of extremely cold weather, but there is still beauty to be seen in our gardens. This is the primary fountain here at Queen Anne Gardens with a dusting of snow. Snow is a rare treat here, and while it does make travel difficult, it sure is beautiful.

[Public Service Announcement: Plants in pots that are under eaves and not getting rain can dry out. Please keep your plants watered sufficiently all year long. Freezing weather is especially damaging to plants in dry soil.]
